The basic aim of a thoughtful education is to develop the creative potential of the young minds and channelization of the blooming energy for creating new benchmarks. We at LPS, aim to create individuals, riding high on the cognitive abilities adapted through, various development imperatives followed in practice, on a equals basis, in the school and subsequently work relentlessly in this direction to provide an environment, which motivates children to become self reliant and confident.
The school strives to provide students with the added value by expanding the horizon of their capability to absorb information, in the broadest of sense and its subsequent application in a thorough and quantized manner. We lay the foundation for right work habits, attitudes, values and a positive sense of self-awareness.
We constantly endeavour to develop the spirit of National Integration and create a sense of INDIANNESS among children. We believe in the age old axiom-"Healthy mind dwells in a healthy body." To ensure that the students keep physically fit, the school organizes various indoor and outdoor sports like Table tennis, Volleyball, Badminton etc. along with many other track and field events. Besides, we provide a plethora of opportunities at Inter-School, State and National levels by encouraging students to participate in various competitions.
Thus, the personality of children is developed manifold and this is manifested, when the children come out with flying colors in various competitive examinations like IIT, NEET, NDA, NTSE, Olympiad etc.

The motto of L.P.S. 'come to learn and go to serve' serves as the philosophy and the guiding principle in our educational endeavour and continues to fuel our commitment, to the cause of achieving academic excellence. The underlying philosophy at LPS is to provide a holistic, learner-centered, comprehensive, experimental and most importantly joyful deliverance of the education to each and every child in an equitable and inclusive manner.
The need for today is to create a Global citizen, with a philanthropic mindset and keeping this in mind the school ecosystem is developed in such a way so as to provide a progressive learning environment and to recognize, identify, foster and nurture all the essential capacities and capabilities in an optimum manner. An emphasis on conceptual understanding, creativity, collaborative learning and critical thinking automatically exhorts the students to achieve excellence, in not only curriculum but in all the domains of like which is an essential requisite for making them a good human being. The school offers a congenial and caring environment wherein each and every young mind feels welcomed and is offered an array of resources and learning experiences, ably supported by, the best of infrastructure. Founder's Thought

It is well said that 'Rome was not built in a day' but one must have a vision to do so and it was entirely the vision of our Founder Shri C. P. Singh to create an educational establishment whose repute stands strong on the support and belief of every single individual who is a part of this astonishing L.P.S. family. Over the years, the Lucknow Public School, has risen to a magnanimous height on the strong foundation of academics and discipline, which was laid down by our respected 'Sir'.
He shaped the institution just like a potter does on his wheel, slowly but steadily manoeuvring his efforts to give rise to this huge L.P.S. family.
From the first brick that he put in 1988 to a claim of 09 established and prominent educational institutions , today, it really has been a long journey and is still going on...
